We’re excited to announce the successful completion of Taiwan’s first ‘Rigo concept BSPTS Level 2’ course, hosted by BalanSpine Scoliosis Clinic. This course was made possible with the dedicated support of Barcelona Scoliosis Physical Therapy School (BSPTS), creating a wonderful experience. During the six-day intensive training:

“Advanced Techniques.” Therapists learned advanced techniques of physiotherapy for scoliosis to enhance precision in assessing and treating cases.

“Clinical Application.” Participants applied learned principles directly on the real patients, crafting personalized treatment plans based on SOSORT guideline for better outcomes.

Our BSPTS teacher, Yumin Ding, use her hands-on teaching approach, providing insights into effective guidance techniques. We also learn more about adult spinal deformity, degenerative scoliosis and bracing during the course. Among other things, participants exchanged their scoliosis treatment options and solutions for challenges faced in treating scoliosis patients.

We look forward to therapists using these knowledge and technique to establish ‘a zero-distance’ scoliosis healthcare network in Taiwan, offering high-quality care for patients with scoliosis.
