Level 2 with Borislav Chongov in Sofia, Bulgaria

From June 17–22, Sofia hosted the Rigo Concept BSPTS Level 2 Course, part of one of the most comprehensive educational pathways in Physiotherapeutic Scoliosis-Specific Exercises (PSSE).
The course began with examination case presentations, during which participants presented two scoliosis cases from their clinical practice: one Type A and one Type B according to the Rigo Classification, supported by radiological assessment and classification.
A distinctive feature of the course is the active participation of patients with scoliosis, who receive free assessment and PSSE treatment sessions while providing participants with valuable hands-on clinical experience.
All physiotherapists and rehabilitation professionals successfully completed both the theoretical and practical examinations, including the assessment and treatment of real patients.
Following the completion of this course, Bulgaria now has 20 therapists certified at Rigo Concept BSPTS Level 2. Nine of them will continue to Level 3, which includes advanced training, poster development and presentation, as well as final theoretical and practical examinations.
Participants have also successfully completed the two mandatory online courses:
• Adult Scoliosis
• Brace Treatment
The next step is Rigo Concept BSPTS Level 3, which will be held in Bulgaria for the first time from June 29 to July 4, with instructors Núria Puigdevall, Garikoitz Aristegi and Borislav Chongov.
The Rigo Concept BSPTS educational pathway represents a unique postgraduate specialization consisting of:
• Four face-to-face courses (Base Course, Level 1, Level 2 and Level 3)
• Two mandatory online courses
• Eight examinations, including both theoretical and practical assessments
