Level 1 Rigo Concept (Barcelona Scoliosis Physical Therapy School) course was organized by the Scoliosis Treatment Center (St. Petersburg) and was held in St. Petersburg from October 9 to October 14, 2023. The teacher was Natalya Pugacheva, Doctor of Physical Therapy.
It was a historic moment. This Level 1 Rigo Concept (Barcelona Scoliosis Physical Therapy School) educational course was first in Russia. Now we can already state the fact that our domestic doctors have not only gained access to the theoretical aspects of the Rigo Concept but also mastered the way to practice exercises for scoliosis treatment based on the Schroth method which is very important as it is a good option of non surgical scoliosis treatment.
The final exam showed that all participants had successfully mastered Level 1 Rigo Concept (Barcelona Scoliosis Physical Therapy School), learned everything about scoliosis diagnosis, scoliosis prognosis, as well as scoliosis treatment options, and now know how to treat scoliosis.
The first step has been successfully taken. New Level 1 courses will be given soon, which will allow for gaining experience for Level 2.
