Level 1 course, The Netherlands. Teacher: Ilse de Wilde – Kramer

The first Barcelona Scoliosis Physical Therapy School (BSPTS- Rigo concept) course organized and finished in Zwolle, the Netherlands.

We started the course with two physiotherapist, they already learned about ‘What is scoliosis’ end the ‘Scoliosis diagnosis’ in the basic course. In the L1 we learned about the treatment for scoliosis, we had a lot of time to practice with and on each other. We measured x-rays and worked with the classification system.

We explained something about the multidisciplinary approach and the role of the occupational therapist and the psychologist in our rehabilitation treatment we offer to our patients’ in our clinic.

The course ended with an special lecture about the Bio Psycho-Social model conducted Dr. Manuel Rigo, our Founder and Master and one of the SOSORT co-founders.

Our students passed the exam and are ready to work with there patients. After the time needed to get their experience they will participate in the next level of the course!
