Allina Health System, a major rehabilitation provider in Minnesota, launched their scoliosis program by hosting Cindy Marti to teach the BSPTS Level 1 – Rigo Concept course in April, 2023.

There were 10 Allina Health physical therapists in attendance from multiple locations. They will each be the pioneers in providing PSSE for adult and pediatric scoliosis and hyperkyphosis services within their clinics.

The team was eager to learn the Rigo Concept, based on Schroth and will work to share knowledge from the course to build a good interdisciplinary team within Allina. The facility was ideal, with 5 free-standing wallboards within the classroom for a combination of a rich lecture and lab experience in treating scoliosis.

Allina plans to host additional BSPTS courses in the future!
