Level 1, Beth Janssen, Stevens Point, USA

From November 10-15, 2024, Beth Janssen, PT taught the Rigo Concept, BSPTS, Level 1. It was attended by 4 dedicated PT from across the USA. During the course we continued the discussion which began when the attending PT’s took the Online BASE course. We discussed how scoliosis is diagnosed, what the scoliosis treatment options are based on the scoliosis prognosis. The attending PT got to practice evaluation techniques on screening for scoliosis and the use of the scoliometer. They observed treatments of adolescents with scoliosis and were able to practice Physical Therapy Scoliosis Specific Exercises. They will now be working at their individual facilities, bringing the non surgical treatment of scoliosis back to their treatment teams.
