This year in February, from the 03rd to the 08th, in Craiova, Romania, Kineto-Plus hosted the first Rigo Concept BSPTS Level 1 course for a number of 7 students . The instructor who organized the course was Andreea Vîrban PT.
The course was a 6 day long journey that put people’s minds at work in understanding “What is scoliosis?” and also the 3D nature of this specific pathology.The main topic was about non surgical scoliosis treatment and how can the Rigo Concept from the Barcelona Scoliosis Physiotherapy School help therapists from Romania get better results and have better outcomes for their scoliosis patients.
We talked a lot about thoracic scoliosis, but also lumbar scoliosis. We had demonstrations on real patients, for the students to understand better the way we can use our hands for a more specific scoliosis treatment.
The course was a real success, ending with a nice dinner after the exam, respecting Dr Rigo’s paella night tradition.
In the end, we formed a nice group, promising to keep in touch and discuss more about our patients in the future, and also having a good contact one with another for advice and a better learning experience.
